Well, let me tell you, this here watch, they call it the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon”, it’s somethin’ else. Seen it in a picture the other day, all shiny and black. Reminds me of the night sky out here, ‘cept this one’s got all them fancy little numbers and hands on it. Cost a whole lot, I reckon. More than I make in a year, that’s for sure!
They say it’s a copy of that fancy Omega watch, the kind them astronaut fellas wear. This one, it’s all about that Apollo 8 mission. You know, the one where they went round the moon? Lordy, that was somethin’. I remember watchin’ it on that old black and white TV we had. This watch, it’s got that same kind of feel, all space-y and what not.
Now, I ain’t never been one for fancy things. My old watch, it tells the time just fine. But this here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster, it’s got somethin’ special. They say it’s made of some kinda black stuff, like that there pottery my neighbor used to make. They call it ceramic. Sounds tough, like it could take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’.

They use a laser to make it look just like the real moon.
Now, you gotta wind this here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 watch yourself. Ain’t no batteries in this one. You gotta twist that little knob on the side. They say it’ll run for 50 hours once you wind it up good. That’s a couple of days, ain’t it? Longer than I can go without a nap, that’s for sure!

I don’t know nothin’ about that, but they say you can get all kinds of stuff there, cheap. Even this fancy watch. They say it’s usually a lot of money, but you can get this copy one for a lot less. Like, maybe $500 or somethin’. Still a lot of money, but not as much as that real Omega.

I seen some folks say you can find these CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 watches for all kinds of prices. Some for a few hundred, some for thousands. Depends on where you get it, I reckon. And what it’s made of. This one, with that black ceramic and that fancy movement, it’s probably gonna cost ya a pretty penny.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon” watch. It’s a fancy thing, that’s for sure. Maybe one day I’ll get to see one up close. But for now, I’ll just stick with my old watch. It may not be fancy, but it tells the time just fine. And that’s all that really matters, ain’t it?
If you want one of these copy watches, you better start savin’ your pennies. They ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. But if you like all that space stuff and you got the money to spend, then maybe it’s worth it. Who knows? I sure don’t. I’m just a simple person with a simple watch. And that’s just fine by me.
