Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this watch thing. It’s called a Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227J-001. Sounds fancy, right? Well, I wanted to see if I could remake one. It is the sort of classic style, and it looked like a fun project.

Next up, I tried to recreate the dial. The original has this champagne color that’s pretty unique. I tried to match it as best as I could, but it was tough. I experimented with different materials to get the look and feel right. It’s not perfect, but it’s not bad either. I added those little hour markers and the hands. That was a real pain, I must say, getting those tiny things in the right place. This whole thing took some patience, I’ll tell ya.

It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot about watches in the process. This was not easy, but hey, I did it. Might not be as shiny or as expensive as the real thing, but it’s got its own charm.
