Okay, so, I saw this Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag at the official store the other day, and I thought, “I gotta have it!” But, man, that price tag. It’s way more than I usually spend on a bag. But the heart wants what it wants, right?
So, I started doing some digging. I checked out their stores in Milan, Venice, and Rome, you know, where Prada’s from. It’s definitely cheaper in Italy than here in the US. A lot cheaper, actually.
Then I learned about this “Saffiano” leather. Apparently, it’s real leather. I found out that it is treated and embossed, but not like full-grain leather. I also checked out some used ones online, and they were a bit cheaper, but still pretty expensive. But hey, they say it’s up to 80% off sometimes, so that’s something, I guess.
I even compared it to some LV bags. Some folks say LV is more expensive, but for this Prada bag, it seems to be just as pricey, if not more in some cases. This Galleria bag, it’s a beauty. They got all types, big ones, small ones, all sorts of colors. But this small one, it’s just perfect.
I went back to the store and looked at it again. Tried it on, you know, walked around with it a bit. It felt so good. It’s made of that tough Saffiano leather, and it’s just the right size. Not too big, not too small.
After thinking about it, I decided to go for it. I mean, it’s a classic, right? It’s an investment. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. And you know what? No regrets. I’m in love with this bag. It’s my new baby.
